Our Team
Why we started
Ovation Hospice.
We believe hospice care is essential work. We’ve been deeply moved by how patients and their families bond in ways they may not have before; a new season brings new connections.
It’s disheartening to see care like this treated as a profits-over-people business, but unfortunately, we’ve witnessed this mentality too often in our industry. The vital aspect of being present and available for patients and their families often gets overshadowed by the drive to maximize a flat Medicare payout. We knew there had to be a better way to offer consistently compassionate hospice care, one that puts people first—always.
That’s why we started Ovation Hospice with a clear vision. To fulfill it, we set two non-negotiables when building our team: top-notch quality care and hearts eager to serve. Today, we show up for the families in our care with radical generosity because, frankly, we can’t imagine doing it any other way. Thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you during this delicate time. We consider it one of life’s greatest privileges.
How we’re different
You deserve promises kept.
We want these difficult days to be remembered
for their connection, not their chaos. We promise:
The best people,
Each member of our team has the qualifications for clinical care and a heart for their patients. At Ovation Hospice, every caregiver considers this their life's work.
offering the most time,
When time is limited, the last thing you want is to feel alone with your concerns. We are proud to have a reputation of being on-site, on time, and always on call.
for as long as we're needed.
Because the scope of hospice care varies, so does our time with you. We are committed to caring for the needs of your loved one, and you, each step of the way.
Ovation Hospice is a Benefit LLC (BLLC), meaning that we chose to become legally registered as a company that creates a “general public benefit,” defined as a “positive impact on society.”
Our core values explain how we live out that commitment:
We serve.
We serve with compassion for our patients, their families, and our team. Service is at the heart of our work.
We have integrity.
We examine our practices openly and honestly, learn from our mistakes, and meet our commitments.
We are purpose-driven.
We are driven by our purpose to provide compassionate care and assist in the search for meaning.
We are better together.
We do our best through teamwork and collaboration. We’re an inclusive culture that leverages the strengths of our diverse talents to innovate and maximize care for our patients, their families, and our team.
We pursue what’s next.
We find energy in adapting and re-inventing our approach; from the way we care for our patients and their families to how we work as a team.
